Panhandling Pelican

This local pelican can be found begging tourists and local fisherman for a snack.

Captured in the final golden glow of the day, this Brown Pelican stands as a guardian of the coast. The intricate textures of its plumage and the quiet intensity in its gaze evoke a sense of coastal serenity and timeless strength.

Don't be fooled, there are plenty of fish in the river as the other pelicans have no problems catching meals. This particular pelican has just figured it can flash some cute eyes and prey on the sympathy of humans passing by.
